The 2nd Brazil Hot Wheels Convention was held on July 18-19, 2009, at Shopping Eldorado in São Paulo, Brazil. A significant highlight of the event was the attendance of Hot Wheels designer Larry Wood, who delivered a talk and participated in an autograph session, much to the excitement of Brazilian collectors.

The convention exclusive car for this edition was a special A-OK, part of the Hot Wheels Early Times Car Club series, celebrating "Larry Wood: 40 Years of Design." The blister card featured a "Brazil Exclusive" label, and the release was limited to 7,000 units.
