Hot Wheels Collectors Convention in Southern California since 2000

Annual Convention held in September / October time frame are managed by Collectors Events Unlimited under license by Mattel. The first convention was held in 1987 in Toledo, Ohio. The event cars were all Code 3 cars from 1987 to 1997. In 1998, Mattel Hot Wheels started producing most of the event cars.
